Dutch house producers Brooks and Repiet shake up the scene with their first-ever collaboration, "I Don't Wanna Know," out now via Future House Music, which just recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary. With an electrifying, party-ready vibe, the track fuses the artists' dynamic, upbeat sound with a fresh spontaneity that stems from an unusual creative process. Unlike many modern-day collabs stitched together remotely, these two actually sat down in the studio - no pre-planned roles, no structured workflow, just pure, unfiltered musical chemistry. The result? It is a euphoric, whimsical anthem that seamlessly blends dynamic basslines, digitized vocals, and thoroughly crafted melodies for a unique track that simply won't leave your head. As Brooks puts it, "Sometimes, making music is just about having fun… and trying to convince yourself you know what you're doing." With their mix of sarcastic humor and effortless synergy, Brooks and Repiet prove that sometimes, not knowing is exactly the magic formula.
"Repiet's music had been showing up in DJ sets more and more over the years. Since we started talking and exchanging demos, we've noticed how much we share our love for the same genres, so it made sense to start working on something together. The funny thing is that, for me, it's actually one of the first times where we didn't really have any clear way to divide the parts of the track. We're both super technical and really like the sound design and messing around with new plugins, so we literally both sat down in the studio and worked on every single part together, and the process was fully organic. What I like most about the track - all the fresh new sounds! We saw what we do differently and combined everything into 'I Don't Wanna Know.' Personally, it feels like the perfect mix of the more 'known' sounds we both have and what's coming up next. It was also very pleasant and refreshing to just sit with someone in the studio who has the same sarcastic humor as me, which clearly helped to set the right vibe in the room, instead of working remotely" - Brooks

Repiet
He's been hooked on creativity for as long as he can remember, starting with painting and drawing before he could even read or write. That passion only grew stronger over the years. Eventually, Repiet moved from the canvas to music, diving into the world of Future House. This genre is all about innovation and fresh sounds, which suits him perfectly because he loves to challenge himself creatively. Repiet enjoys blending his ideas into his tracks, producing music that's truly one-of-a-kind. But the Dutch producer's love for music doesn't stop there. He's also into other genres, always exploring new sounds and styles to keep the creativity flowing.
